Certified Mindfulness-Based Strategic Awareness Training Teacher
A certified MBSAT (Mindfulness-Based Strategic Awareness Training) teacher and Gallup Strengths coach, Norman is passionate about empowering others through the practice of mindfulness so they can successfully navigate the stresses and anxiety brought about by a volatile and uncertain world. Starting with his own mindfulness journey 25 years ago, he has attended numerous retreats and practised under many well-known meditation teachers, including Mingyur Rinpoche, Alan Wallace, SN Goenka and Thich Nhat Hanh, as well as spent two short stints as a novice monk in Myanmar and Thailand. Currently a full-time academic, Norman teaches a course on ‘Healthy Living and Wellbeing’ in Nanyang Technological University.
