Specific mindfulness practices and techniques used in the MBTI program will be demonstrated in the workshop along with suggestions for teaching mindfulness to those with disturbed sleep. Finally, the research evidence for using MBTI and other mindfulness meditation programs as a treatment for insomnia and sleep disturbance will be reviewed and future directions will be discussed.
