Bernice Lin
Bernice is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Art Therapy at LASALLE College of the Arts. Her clinical training focuses on individual and group art therapy for older adults in acute, community, and residential care settings. She actively seeks out innovative approaches to psychological wellbeing and recovery across the developmental lifespan. For over 5 years, she has been involved in translational research projects at Duke-NUS Medical School, including the initiation and evaluation of a mindfulness-informed neuro-technological intervention for anxiety regulation among adolescents and young adults. Bernice holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Psychology (Honors) from the National University of Singapore.
An avid mindfulness practitioner, Bernice has completed a series of mindfulness-based programs such as the MBCT and MBSR. Noting a widespread interest in brief mindfulness practices as antidotes for relaxation, she advocates a return to the cultivation of its fundamental attitudes of non-judgment, gratitude, non-striving, and compassion.
